okay, theres this rattleling noise coming from the stock headers in my engine. it seems like my headers are unbolted but its not. does anyone know what might the problem be? my engine light is also on.

Is your exhaust really loud? if it is really loud it might be your exhaust gasket or cracked header.. pull the code from you CEL and someone here will probably know what it is.

PS i saw some stock ones on ebay for like 40 bucks earlier. search there. GL

 

I had the same problem with my 97 Integra. What happened was the headers were not a perfect line up so i had to pull the cat closer to them which caused the cat to touch the heat shield over it. That was my problem at least.

Jack up the car and get under it while it's running and listen to hear where it's coming from. If it's the cat you just need to get something to pull the heat shield away from it with. A pair of pliers usually works well.
