Default WIP: 1/24 scale B16 powered CRX, replica of my 1:1 (**56k beware, lots of pics**)

I figured I would post my CRX model progress here since I kind of highjacked "larfuls" thread on his model. I am pretty far along with this build but still have a good bit of work to do to finish it. When this is done is is going to be the "future" shot of what i want my 1:1 to look like once painted with new wheels (within the year I hope). I started with a Revell integra kit and tore it apart for the engine and engine bay, the CRX is Fujimi (I think) so here is what I have so far.

You can see pics of my 1:1 car here, these are the pics I am using for reference
http://jacksoncreation.designp...id=19

And here is the model progress

You can see all the pics here but this is the link to 1 of 13 pages so you will have to sift through to see them all since it's to many links to post here [IMG][/IMG]

PSHT still waiting on mine...I ask for one personally and you see where that got me. I could poop in one hand and wish for a CRX model in the other and all I would have is a brown stinky hand.

Well considering they do not make that one at all your are right, it will be harder. The only Civic 4dr in production has been the EG 4dr, only EF in production is the CRX.

In real life maybe but since this is a model and none of these parts are made (In the modeling world) and since this is going to look like my REX I went ahead and made it. I also plan on adding all the wires and vaccum hoses before completion.

OMG that would be so funny. If someone actually built on that looked just like a real motor (like above). Placed on garage floor and snapped a pic. Then sold it on ebay as a JDM SIR motor lol. Technically they wouldn't be scamming

lol, Yea that would make me laugh. I was using a watermark but the program is no longer working and I have not found another one yet to use. All though I have not really looked hard yet.
