ok my hatch starts up strong but after it runs for a little bit it has trouble staying on and revs high and then low like its struggling, then it dies after repeating that for a little bit. why is this happening?

ive pretty much done the headgasket but not the timing. and thats it

your t/b should have a screw?

 

would it be idle or would it be my timing?
