green and bronze...excellent. makes me want to get my bronze Mugen MF8s..which i should have had by now if it werent for a slight boost creep

 

Sweeeet...I'll get my set next friday and I can't wait. I bought them from a local discount tire for $95 a piece but I'm having a dilemma whether to get Azenis or 712's...suggestions???

I was in the same boat as you. I was torn between the bridgstone SO3s and 712s. The so3 are definalty better tires for handling, 712 are more of a everyday street tire with decent grip. Well i looked at every tire on tirerack in and came across the sumitomo HTR 200s, They seemed to perform with tires twice their price so i decided to give them a try. It sucks that my distributor ate its self, now i can't test then out untill i get a new one. Oh well, life goes on.

 

I was also deciding between the Azenis and Kumho. I decided on the Azenis for better dry handling characteristics. I may end up autocrossing these tires. However, my friend just ordered the Kumho for better wet handling characteristics. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Why don't you try your local Discount Tire? I got mine for $95 bucks a piece but the catch is you have to pay tax if you buy it local. But hell with that I can't wait to get them. People are going to crazy as you can see and the longer you wait the prices will go up so catch them while you can. Niiiice pics nk...I guess I'll just flip a coin between azenis & kumhos either way I can't lose right?

Thanks timberSi Just so everyone knows, Discount Tire can also get Rotas wheels as well. My friend bought flat gunmetal subzeros (16') from DT yesterday, while two mail order places were out of that color (yesterday). Peace!

The sun didn't **** up that last pic it's nice and clean. I think that's the only decent looking one.
