If you want good gas mileage the 88-91 HF tranny is for you..If you want acceleration the 88-91 Dohc ZC tranny is for you,,somewhat hard to find though,,The next best would be 88-91 crx/civic SI tranny (the civic version could be either the 4.25 or 4.05 final drive as I was informed by jlicrx) ,Next best is the 88-91 civic/crx DX 5spd tranny..
