Tenzo R coilovers? Any good?
Are these coilovers worth the money? They're only a little over a hundred. How do they ride? I don't want to be bouncing all over the place. If not, what are some good coilovers I can get that are not to high in price. Thanks...
They're just like the rest of the standard generic coils..If you are putting them on stock shocks, then you will be bouncing all over the place..I have experience with dropzone personally and they are ok..not the best..But when I had them with kyb gr2 shocks lowered 2" all around were cool..No bouncing, but the ride was stiff ..Not to rough though..The best thing about them is they came with rubber top picecs instead of metal ones, they didnt squeak, and didnt rust through 3 years of NJ winter..Defineatly worth the $50 I spent on them off ebay.com
Haven't heard anything bad about the Tenzo-R's. If you're not really going for that great handling setup and just want the look of being nice and lowered pick up some replacement shocks (KYB GR-2s, Tokico Blues, etc.) and throw the Tenzo R's on. But honestly, i'd just go w/ a nice spring to get the ride height you want. Ride will be a LOT nicer.
dont save up to buy skunk2 (adjustable spring kits). theyre going to be no better than tenzo.
look to buy ground controls.
by the looks of it, skunk2 regualr drop springs look kinda low for my taste and usefulness. but if thats what youre looking for, go ahead. theyre pretty cheap and probably made as cheap.
