dude, please tell me you welded it to the subframe and NOT the ends of the LCA's....if you welded it to the LCA end, you're in for a world of hurt they are supposed to pivot!!

Would suck if you DIYed something that was utterly worthless (read: any lower tie-bar) and then it broke your **** on top of not doing a damn thing.
And no, that's not anything even approximating a swaybar

That sir is about as far from a sway bar as you could possibly get.....
As soon as the suspension compresses its going to tear that bar off. That may be the worst home grown DIY ever. Not only does it not work....it may even jack up parts that did once work properly
One other thing...if it isn't welded to the LCA's then it probably wont break or ruin anything BUT it will still do absouletly nothing

I dont think he welded it to the lca's...
it looks like it sits in the two lobes that the lca's mount in on the subframe
basically i think he welded it up the channels that the lca's fit it...would be kinda like a subframe reinforcement... just not at the mounting points where it would tear

if you wanted to make your own lower rear tie bar, you could without welding it to your chassis. you can buy round stock and just drill a hole in it to mount to your lca mount point and then weld the center portion to it...
