Default Ordered A b16a From hmo

Man I am so excited. I ordered it and it should be here in about 2 weeks! Cant wait till I install it and drive it. I also got rims, type r gauge cluster, brembo's, tokico blue shocks and skunk2 springs, and a few other things that looked cool. I will have pics of the install as it progresses through the month. I also got a new digital camera!

got the ecu and complete harness not cut. I already have a linkage and axles so I didnt need it. Shipping to alaska was only 350 and it was wrapped awsome! I had some trouble taking it off. The ecu was double bubble wrapped along with the cluster.

I actually wnet the expensive way for a ls/vtec. I wanted the transmission and head only. I didnt want to piece together everything so I just decided to go with the whole swap.

oh ok,,I guess thats cool, you can use the knock sensor from the b16a block and drill a hole in the b18a block for it,,and use the b16a pistons also,,
What are you going to use for an ecu? If you want to use the pwo ecu look into bre for managment,,Or if you have the pr4 in the car right now you can chip it and run turboedit..

Have fun..

well it came with the pr3 cant I use that? But I was planning on converting to obd1 and using a p28 with hondata s200. I am looking at prices right now. also I already bought pr3 pistons and put them on ls rods. I will most likely sell the bottom end as a whole

looks good i bought my swap from HMO as well, they kick ***. Judging from your swap I would say it's from a 88-89 Sir EF. 90-91's got the J1 and were mostly 5 million series motors. Have fun!

its too beautiful to take apart, id rock the b16 for awhile then transfer to ls/vtec.... thats just me though, im sure you would have fun beating around the b16.

I was thinking that but have been building the ls block for a while now and all it needs is a vtec head and for me to drill the knock sensor in.

That thing is clean no doubt. I've spent last two days cleaning my fresh bought B18C4.

Its not funny. I've tried many cleaning methods, and i just have got the white spots off. I just gotta keep on trying. You package sounds like a lot of fun.

Good luck
