Default wtf is wrong with my alpine alarm? lights don't flash anymore.....

One of my cars has an alpine alarm, although I don't know what model.

Anyway, sometimes the lights don't flash when I arm/ disarm the alarm.

I haven't made any changes to the settings or anything, but this appears to possibly be weather related.

The lights wouldn't flash with the arm/ disarm for about two months, and then all of a sudden they started working fine again. Then they quit working again after about a month.

Is it possible it's a ground or relay or something?

Or is it like someone else has mentioned to me - that the brain is possibly on the fritz?

Check the main ground to the alarm, if that's good, check the fuse on the light flash wire, and if that's good, then you may have a faulty light flash output on the brain.

I would be willing to bet its the fuse on the parking light wire.

Black R you will need to find the alarm brain and get the model number off it, if every thing else is working on the alarm I don't think the problem is in the alarm, but more then likely a fuse as B18_EJ8 suggested, before he spewed that blasphemous, obviously biased and hate filled, crack about there being something wrong with the alarm, or possible wiring. 94
