I bought a DTR header of this guy exactly 2 weeks ago today (PayPal'd the money). He told me the header would ship as soon as it cleared to his account, it cleared like 3 days later, he told me I'd have a tracking number that day...I didn't. Here's the original thread to this:

I have tried to PM him numerous times with no reply, called his cell and any other number i could locate with no luck, his cell goes straight to voice mail. I needed this header like yesterday, that's why I sent it so fast and hoped he got it out, I need it to finish my exhaust and my car is supposed to be in a BIG show here in Cincinanti by the 25th, basically a debut show. I gave this guy $850, now I have nothing. I'm at the point where I'm willing to pay someone in WA to go to his place and get this header for me, I have his address and all, if worse comes to worse, I'll be going to Washington, it's happened before. What should I do now, I contacted PayPal to get his contact info and those *********** there said they wouldn't give it to me for security reasons when someone somehow got my number on PayPal one time and called me. I pretty ******* heated, someone's gonna get a broken neck. Either I want $850 or my header.

thats fucked up all this dude has to do is send this header and all this sketchy bullshit will go away, pandahatch is a good guy i kinda know him but he has always been cool to me, it only happens to the good guys, hopefully it is all a misunderstanding and the dude is like in the hospital or something, has he been active at all on the site

We lost contact for less then 30 hours. not 2 days. I had some things to take care of and wasnt home. Stop wigging out.. Go check paypal for your tracking number.

I will wait and see if the header does come. Yes I do use my mom's PayPal address, it's easier that way and I keep my online transactions in there. Is it her money, partially, I had to borrow $150 to come up with all the cash. Josh, I hope you keep to your word and really did send it, it would look good on your part and this whole dispute will come to a close. Like a said in a PM, my AIM name is FrescoGreenEG6.

wtf on a shady sell. regardless if he called you out as a scammer and you took offense to it...you still took his money and have yet to show a viable product.

Just tried it again and it didn't work, are you sure there isn't a O instead of an 0, I've mixed that up a few times.

 

seems like another whack trackin number, if it was picked up it would at least say the billing info has been recieved, you sir can't type or lying.

 

ohh and it jsut showed up but its explanation is wierd lookin.

 

Worse case secenario would be he started the UPS shipping process but never delivered the part to UPS for shipment. That is how you got a UPS tracking number. Getting a number doesn't mean the package was shipped, it only starts the process.

When you go punch in the tracking number UPS has the status but it shows no shipment cause they don't have the item. It'll simply say it's not in their system and no other info available. Otherwise it would show a drop off or pick up date and estimated delivery date.

So if tracking don't work, that means he has not shipped your item or dropped your item to UPS for shipment.

 

Interesting, I'm calling UPS tomorrow to find out what's up.

 

yep ekhappy is right. i got a ups tracking number once, it didn't even work til like a day or two later. woo hoo ups ground.
