Ok, so my dimmer switch has never worked in my honda, so today, i decided to try and fix it. I took apart the dash and everything and found the wire that was suppose to be connected to the dimmer switch which wasnt connect ot he switch at all. There was black tape over it, and when i peeled the tape off a piece of red and black wiring was connect into some of the slots on the plug. so i removed the black tape and plugged it into my dimmer swith.

NOW, when i reconnected my battery line, and i started the car, the stereo would light up, but when i would turn on the lights, the radio light would shut off, and the car lights woruld turn on. BUT the whole time my cluster wont light at all. Any ideas on whats the problem.

ALSO when i bought my car, it came witha turbo timer connected to it. could that be whats affecting it? PLEASE HELP

 

you need more help than i can give over the net... trace the wires, make sure they are in the right cavities...

 

i was thinking i could just reconnect the little piece of wiring to the plug, but i dont know how it was placed. Is there anyway I can find that out?

well what throws me off is this turbo timer, i guess ill have to trace everything back tomorrow.
