Default 91 zc civic

i was wondering if i turboed a dohc zc what would be safe boost levels and what kinda of number would i be puttin down. is this a good motor to turbo?

Dont focus on boost..Focus on how much HP the motor can handle before it blows up..Ive seen internally stock dohc zc motors handle 210hp reliabley with good fuel management..Go past like 220hp and you're pushing it..

Its an ok motor to boost..Its not the best..Small 1.6L,Thin rods,etc....But it is dual cam so that is cool

yea i was thinkin bout doin this swap myself, a co worker of mine has the zc head, block, and si tranny. right now i have a homemade boosted crx. you guys think i should do this swap too, and if i was going to do this swap would it be difficult to use the same turbo set up.

well think of it this way

how long do you plan on keeping the motor
if you run it stock with boost

if your talking about me and its easy to put my turbo on it then i would run it until i have enough for a b-series
