Default Red Altezza or OEM Conversion

The recent topics to which people are converting their OEM tailights by taking out the yellow reflector has sparked somewhat of an interest. I bought my 4th gen with regular Altezza lights already on the car and didnt give me the original taillights with it. Since i hate the garbage *** look...i wanted to go with either a NOT SO BAD looking Red Altezza setup or an OEM conversion...do you know of any places that SELL Red Altezza or OEM style tailights for the 4th gen?

I know in the Prelude Picture thread there is a blue 4th gen with Red Altezzas that look really nice. In your situation I would go with working with what you have rather than spending money. Look at both closely and go with whichever one YOU like. Don't let the typical "I'm gonna force my opinion on you/Make your car look like my dream" people get ahold of you.

I found some ricer to trade me OEM ones for my Altezzas, although I do kinda wonder how they would have turn out if I would have done the conversion.

I cleared mine out COMPLETELY, they're OEM. I replaced the bulbs with LED bulbs.

buy some oem ones. I got some jdm ones on ebay for $35 shipped (yeah i know they are the exact same as usdm but i tgot them $40 cheaper than any other ones i coudl have got). anyways. replace them w/ oem ones and experiment with the altezzas, pull them apart and spray the inside of the cover with some candy red (except for the turn signal area.. shoudl be cool looking.. sell those and make some cash back)

Get some oem taillights and put some red led lights in there. It makes them look so nice at night.

Thanks for the suggestion...I belive I'm going to get some cheap OEM ones and do the sweet conversion. Since I wanted to get the brighter look out of them I will go for the LED lights as well...I will post pics of them when I'm done....my car is going through an h22a swap right now so I'm bored and want to spend money.

I can't stand the Altezza's. I have a 5th gen that I cleared out.

Ebay is probably your best shot unless you see someone around town that has stock ones. If they have a fart muffler, then you have a good chance of trading with them right there.
