Default Sway Bar Help

I have an 04 base rsx and i just recently installed type-r headers. Because the type-r headers are bigger than the base header, my header rubs against my front sway bar causing it to rattle. I was thinking about getting type-r sway bars. Will that work or would any aftermarket sway bar work??? Any help would be appericated, thanks!

the r bar would be your best bet b/c you know it will work...i guess any other bar could possibly work, just not as guarenteed as the legit R sway bar

Don't listen to this guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about. The ITR bar will NOT fit your current set-up. You need the ITR front set-up which is way more money than you are most likely looking to spend. Simply put, the geometry is different. Buy either a Toda, Whiteline, or Hotchkis front sway bar or kit, depending on what you want and what each company offers.

I have one equip'd, but I don't understand your question. It clears the race headers that are made for our cars. I don't know why you are still looking into the itr sway because I explicitly told you that it doesn't work with the stock rsx suspension layout. It's not a bolt on walk away thing. You need the itr lca's, axles, and brake assembly being the Brembos and the whole two bits. So unless you are willing to drop $1500-2000 for the sake of a sway bar, buy another brand. Like I said before, let me reiterate, Whiteline/Toda/ and Hotchkis are all brands that will bolt onto the rsx chasis and have clearance for the race header application.
