I bought my JDM mirrors last year and I'm just getting around to installing them. So far they move the way they're supposed to but I haven't wired up the 'fold' yet. I have discovered they are 7-pin mirrors (harness has 7 wires also) which indicates I have 2 extra pins. I gather that the other two must be for defrosters. Can anyone confirm this and can anyone tell me how to wire these? I guess they go to the defroster switch? Or is there a mirror switch out there with a defrost button (and a relay somewhere I assume also)
If you have any access to any type of car that has defrost mirrors, I would have to assume the wiring would be approximately the same. Hook me up if you have the info.
