Default Extreme Shifting???

Hey guys, Almost done with a GSR swap in an EG hatch. Only problem is when i hook up the shift linkage the shifter slams into the plastic center console. Do i have the right linkage? If i flip flop the shifter either way it either hits the front of the center console, or it hits the back of the center console. The shiftlinkage is kinda of a gold color too if that helps determine what car it came from. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks honda-tech

Can you say for sure which linkage you have? any b series teg 94-01 should work fine, baring its not damaged. This is of course is except for the del sol vtec linkage and the DA teg linkage (90-93).

well without pics to compare its hard to tell ya anything else helpful, if its a 94+ teg, it should work alright, i no the da teg linkages are about 1 inch shorter, so if you can confidantly say that you trust the seller, and you recieved the gsr linkage, i can only assume it is damaged? perhaps the misinformed attempted to straighten it?

also the ek sir linkages are different as well and will not work properly. i would most logically surmise that the seller got just any old b series linkage assuming it would work.

at any rate, replacement are not that much money, if you problem continues i would sugest just getting a new linkage, avid or oem, both are only like 150 new, or find a used set on here.
