Default Type R intake manifold IACV

Can I use the type r IACV that came with my inatake manifold or do I have to swap it out for a crv one

could you take pics of that type r iacv, i just bought a diff. intake mani. and im not sure which iacv i need. i just wanted to compare the sizes. i can get pics of my IM if anyone thinks they can tell me which iacv i would need

VISUALLY, the IACV that came on my B16A3 is different from the one that came on my ITR. The B16A3 IACV has a metal body, while the ITR IACV is metal where it mounts, but black plastic elsewhere. The CR-V IACV appears to bethe same as the ITR IACV (and most other 1992+ IACVs). And I have done ALOT of interchanging of these IACVs. They all appear to be the same. So I would not see ANY problems using an ITR IACV on a CR-V (or vice versa).

I wouldn't bother man, the B16 intake manifold makes more power, especailly the 2nd gen version P30.
If you do it, you'll average about a 2-4hp loss throughout your powerband untill about 8000rpm where the P72 manifold has a small spike.
