Default EF's with 14's... what size/brand tires?

I'm tryin to decide if its even worth getting a summer/autocross tire for my 14's on my 4 door. I know with 15's I would have a bunch more tire options.. but i dont really wanna spend the cash for new rims AND new tires.

What size and brand are you guys running with your 14's in the summer?

i'm looking for the size specifically.. like 185/60/14... and like i said i'm looking for an autocross tire.. not a winter tire.. i'm finding that there isnt a whole lot of choices for performance tires for 14's that will fit on my car

I'm running Falken Azenis 195/60R14's on HX rims.

I love them but haven't driven the car in the rain and I think it would be something to be conserned about.

I"m also running 195/60-14 Azenis, and they're fantastic. $47/tire + shipping from http://www.vulcantire.com . Forget about driving fast in the rain, but I drove them sedately and didn't have any problems.

azenis and hankook ventus seem to be the best choice for a high grip summer tire.

i like my 14" wheels too for the same reason as you. but yeah, the tire limitation sucks.

i tried identifying other good 14" tires in this thread.

i still wanna know if anyone has tried the toyo t1-r. 45 profile is intriguing.
Toyo PROXES T1-R $75.00 1

Size: 195/45/14 77V $75.00*

oh yeah, if youre looking for a REALLY cheap tire, look at sumitomo HTR's. supposedly high performance summer tires.
