150,000 Miles 93 Accord LX: maintenance questions
Ok I got this car from my parents in June 05.
I know i got an oil leak from the valve cover,
also the belts need to be replaced, trani oil replaced, and the radiator flushed.
How hard is it to replace the valve cover gasket, change the trani fluid, flush the radiator, and most importantly the belts?
I realize these are fairly routine things, but the dealer wants $369.00 to do the general 150,000 mi check-up (which is insanity since the T-belt is fine) most of the stuff they do is easy and I know how, but I need some advice on these specifics.
any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

belts are easy... on the alternator and a/c compressor there is an adjustment to raise/lower them you lower them, replace belts, and raise them. easily a 15 min job on a non-wrecked car (or on mine its a 90 min job due to that side being smaller than it should be!)
valve cover gasket is easy. buy a new gasket kit from advance for like 16 bucks, replace all the gaskets.
there are 4 acorn nuts to remove and the ground fromthe valve cover to the chasis.
replace all seals/gaskets and apply hondabond or RTV blue silicone to the corners of the valve cover gasket. trq the nuts in a criss-cross pattern to 7lb ft.
run the car for a couple days and retorque (because as the seals seat they will need to be retorqued a bit)

Can I get Hondabond or RTV blue silicone anywhere? and how careful do I need to be with the ground? someone else told me about the ground but not in very good detail.
appreciate the reply!!!

you can get hondabond from the dealer ,, but instead get the ( ultra flange sealant) it is cheaper and as good ,, dealer sells it as well..
