Default HOW MANY FT.LBS DO I TORQUE MY CYLINDER HEAD TO? CRX

I HAVE A 1988 CRX SI. I BOUGHT THE CAR WITH AN SI BLOCK AND A VTEC HEAD BUT THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM NEVER TORQUE DOWN THE HEAD RIGHT. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE SPECIFIC TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS FOR ME TO TORQUE IT DOWN.

ANOTHER PROBLEM IS THAT SOMEWHERE ABOVE THE OIL FILTER MY CAR HAS AN OIL LEAK AND I CANT FIGURE OUT WHERE IT IS COMING FROM. MAYBE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME OUT WITH THAT PROBLEM?

well if the head isn't torqued down, it's probably leaking from the head gasket.

Did you change the oil filter to make sure there isn't 2 gaskets on there?

is there anything else that could be leaking besides the headgasket. i know its not the oil filter the oil cooler o ring or the oil pan gasket. could it be the sensors above the oil filter?

The oil pressure dummy light possibly? That is located directly above the oil filter. And obviously oil goes through it. The sensor measures the oil pressure and if its too low (there is no oil), then it will light up the oil light in the guage cluster. That could be leaking the oil.

... but if this is single VTEC head slap on to the CRX OE block then it could an oil passage that isn't blocked, just like a LS/vtec swap...
