Will an alignment be needed after replacement of the drive axles?
1994 Accord Ex, 4 door, 160K

My Helms manual says to check the alignment after replacing the drive axles. But most people I have asked this question have said no, as long as, I do not mess with the tie rod. Did Honda have this put in the manual as a possibility or is it a given that follows?
Is it a clear yes or no answer?

No, it will NOT be necessary.
The "chk the alignment" is like a "cover your a...s" thing. If you don't disturb things, it will go back the same way it came apart.
