Default 88 EF9 si seats, HIDS and a few other issues

ok im an 03 civic si owner...ive had a few ef9's but never heavily modified them...

I just got an 88 civic Dx...

The kid did some half *** HID's in the halo/angel eye headlights and dont work right now
Has anyone done this before and howd they fix it...

Supposdly he put all 91 si interior...well maybe he did becuase ther seats are only bolted down in one spot..only one screw holds them in...
How do i get the seats to actually work in this car. It looks like i need special brackets or an extra bar going across the car where the rear part of the original seat slider is. I can post pics...I need help desperatly on the seats thing..that is bothing me like crazy

And also need to replace the shifter becuase he actually cut it off and slammed a shift **** on there. If anyone could point me to some "how to's" that would be great or could take the time to post it up..i really appreciate it.
thanks guys

also has An MSD system in here too..i will find out which one he has tonite when i take it out..he put it in the glove box...What really is it good for..there is no boost or anything in here..its stock engine with i/h/e

Also i have a stock d15?? Im not sure cuase it has a 5 speed. loook in here for more pics of the car.

Its these interior seats...the back of them anyway..ill post more pics tonite of what im talking about.
Again im workin on it...i already raised the car up ..took off the yellow emblems..tryin to clean it up..

I am not sure about the headlights because I dont know what he did wrong. The seats I can help you with. You have to do a seat pan swap. You need 88-89 seat pans and you need to swap the bottom Si seat cushion into the 88-89 seat pan. You might be able to make brackets but I suggest that you just swap seat pans. Its not that hard just time consuming. As far as the shifter why dont you just buy another stock shifter or go buy a after maret short shifter and you can eliminate that problem.

From the picture I cant seem to see that there is any sort of ignition system in the car. All I can see is that there are some MSD wires.

HAhahah it looks like he cut holes in the stock Si seats and shoved some headrests down into the seats. Do me a favor pull the headrests off the back seats and tell me if I cam right.

wow this thing is riced out! anyway I too do not see the other wire coming from dizzy to msd box, but either way you don't need it. You aren't running boost or a crazy n/a setup so don't worry about it. Hope you didn't pay extra though because they said it was a bonus or some crap.

The seat pans you can get at a junk yard. Make sure that you get them from a 88-89 model hatch. The 90-91 are different but if your talking JDM parts then you have the better car. Our 88-89 models replicate the JDM Sir's. The 90-91 have differences that set it apart from the JDM cars. I would much rather own a 88-89 Si but finding one clean is a hassle. The MSD is in the glove box ya but is it hooked up?? Like I said from what I can see it is not even being used but I could be wrong if the wires are hidden that good. Good Luck any help just ask me through a Pm
