Default why would injectors not fire? obd-2

97 civic...i am getting gas to the rail but no gas outta the injectors. this all started after the starter broke off and shorted out. the ecu works i tested in in another car. is there a way to test my injectors? how can i test the wires that go to the injectors? how do the injectors work? are they supplied with + power or what? can i test the injectors out of the car? if so, how?

any insight would be greatly appriciated.

to test the injectors out of the car you can take some place where they could get bench tested or flow tested to see if there clogged or just about done. one chessey way to check in the car is to run the car take a long screw driver and put it to the shiney smooth band on the injecotr to see if you hear a clicking nosie when you put your ear to the scredriver .
