Turbo H22a problem????????????????
I have a 92 honda prelude I put a jdm H22a and a T3/T4 turbo on the car, it idles and runs perfect the problem I am having is when I drive the car I can't get past 2200 rpms which is 40 miles a hour the check engine light is on solid I am running hondata using a p28 ecu with launch control and the boost option . My question is does anyone know what my problem could be I changed the map sensors and I checked my wiring it seems to all be good how can I find out what the check engine like means. Ps. the car feels like Its bogging and the car jerks.
I'd check if there's a secure, solid connection from the blue box to the ecu (if you have the S200 model). If not, it could put you into limp mode and it'll run like crap.
Also, who installed and tuned it for you? Is it running off a base map?

It was in my buddies turboed h22a civic and it was professionally tuned when it was installed in his car. I install all the equipment myself this is my 5th swap.
So it was tuned in your friends H22a civic and then you took the ECU from that car and put it in the prelude you have now, but did you tune it to your Prelude? I would think the system(wires, fuel system, etc...) is different from the civic. Correct me if im wrong!?!?!?!
another thing: does one of u have an aftermarket fuel pump like a walbro 255 and one doesnt? like if he was tuned on a walbro pump and u got ur stock pump thats why its not working
