Any Benefits: Installing an Integra Purge Solenoid w/ my ls swap
I'm wrapping up small details with my ls swap into my 91 Civic dx. Tonight I routed my vacuum lines correctly. However, after looking at numerous vacuum diagrams of different models, Is there any benefit to adding the additional (think it's called) purge solenoid which comes factory on the DA integra chassis. This is located right next to the map sensor on the integra, I noticed my 91 Civic dx doesn't have one, however my DA does. Btw, I'm running a pr4 ecu in my Civic, I was wondering if the ecu might be searching for this additional emissions control. If any of you are running this with your ls swap let me know if you've noticed a difference or not.

your DX should have had a Purge Control Solenoid Valve along with the MAP - what it didn't have, that the DA does, is the Fuel Pressure Regulator Control Solenoid Valve - do you need it? Honda must have thought so since they put it there

I would like to know this as well. My FPR is hooked directly to my intake manifold since I have 2nd GEN B16 intake manifold. should I re-route the lines to the Fuel Pressure Regulator Control Solenoid Valve?

Good info...Is there a wire that runs from the ecu to the Fuel Pressure Regulator Control Solenoid Valve? If so, would you happen to know the pinout? I might try running this and see if it makes a difference in fuel consumption or not, if I can get the pinout from the ecu. Anyone out there that has already done this? I figured maybe some of you in Cali might due to strict emission tests...really not sure if it's required or not for testing.
