I whant the JDM look so I need your help on this one....


should I stick with JDM style aftermarket bumper or stock ?

Get ready to spend some money on the SiR bumper

 

that is an oem crx bumper that can be found on the jdm siR rex, and the edm crx vt.

 

i belive that the original mugen bumper is fiberglass, the wings west is urethane, but even though the mugen is fiberglass, it's most likely gonna fit perfect.

That red one is an 88-89 USDM stock bumper the teal/celestial blue is a jdm SiR/EDM VT bumper.

Ive always liked the 88-89 bumper. Will it just bolt right on a 90-91?

Yes it will bolt right on.

Yes that is the stock 88-89 Si lip on the red one and the stock lip on the SiR/VT aswell

Personally I like the look of the JDM Sir Bumper over the 88-89 USDM one. So i would say go for the Sir one ......if you got the money to fork out of course..lol

That is not a stock lip. That is a copy of the J's racing or charge speed lip. Also made by Passwordjdm I believe. It is made for the JDM?VT bumper but can also be modified to fit the 90-91 USDM front bumper.


That is a stock SiR/VT front and lip


This is the same lip in carbon fiber on the SiR/VT bumper as the link you posted.

Well, I think we need to tell this guy if he decides to go with the jdm SiR or the vt then he needs to purchase a new hood, bumper lights, bumper brackets, headlights.... and if you want TRUE jdm, then you should get the fenders too, they have side markers.

 

You don't NEED the fenders. They are the same as the USDm just cut the holes for the markers.. unless you need fenders aswell....then get them to.

You don't need that either.. just move the latch on the T-bar back as far as you can then enlarge the mounting holes on the hood latch so you can move that forward as far as u can.
