Default ECU Code Help (Code 1 or 2?)

So I checked my ecu for the codes it is throwing and I can't seem to get it. It blinks then stops for a second or two, blinks again then stops for a second or two, and then it does 17 blinks in a row. Now is this code 1 (O2 sensor) and code 17 (VSS), or is it code 2 (Can't find this anywhere) and code 17? Need help quick. Thanks.

You have over 250 posts and don't know how to use the FAQ? Odd.

But you do have a code 1 (oxygen sensor) and a code 17 (VSS)

Use this: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=468260

I tried searching and ****, but I couldn't find anything. I thought those were the codes. Where can I get a VSS from?

Your VSS is on your tranny, most likely right below your TB...

Is you speedo working? If and when it does work does the needle jump up and down? If it does then the cable in not inserted all the way into the tranny. Pull up the rubber boot, pull out the retaining clip, you will notice a notch at the end of the speedo cable( kinda like car radio antenna) look down into the vss and try to insert the the cable and match it up with the same groove that is in the vss. it should slide in and feel like it was made that way, tight. Put in the clip and reset your euc and then see what happens. Good luck.

^^what a noob no the vss for the ecu is on the back of the gauge cluster. part of the speedo assembly it's self. as for code 2, it's the code for the 2'nd o2 used on JDM ecus. like the PW0 will blink code 1 for primary o2 and 2 for secondary.

I have a stock ecu. That's why I didn't know what code 2 was. I am pretty sure that I do have a bad O2 sensor, but I only have a primary. Also, I know where the VSS plug goes into the cluster, just wanted to know some tips on how to check the wires so I don't have to rip my whole dash apart.
