Photoshop Help!!! How do I make Backgrounds Only B and W!!??!!
On PS 7.0 how do I make backgrounds BW and keep the focused object in color? IE-
Car in color - background in BW
Eyes of a person in color - Rest of Pic in BW..
Ect...
Is this a filter?

"Cut out" the part you want to keep (lasso tool works fine, or any other way) and right click, "layer via copy"... then go to the background and "image" "adjustments" "desaturate".
That's the easy way to do it. You lose a lot of contrast/image quality that way but it'll work to learn a bit.
