Default D series manifolds

What do you guys think of this...I am thinking about buying a 88 crx DX with the d15 dual point from a friend of mine for an everday point a to point b car. The motor in it is back fireing out of the intake really bad, and i haven't had a chance to really look into it, but i am willing to bet that it has some valve problems. Anyhow, this is my question. My other friend has a d16 out of a 88 crx si. Is it possible for my to throw that motor in there and just put my intake on it so i won't have to convert to multi-point? I am pretty sure it is possible...but i just wanted to get some imput. thanks.

FALSE : you dont HAVE to... but then, puttin a d16a6 into that car would be point less... a d16a6 will not perform like it was intended to, knowing you will running it with a dual point fuel injection.

instead, put the d16a6 in there, wire up the car to mpfi and enjoy.

it's really easy... juste search a bit on it before you enterprise anything. you will find a enormous amount of info.

but YES your DPFI manifold will work on the d16a6 head... it's totally stupid to do so, even if it's feaseable....

Kranked.

Likely has a cam timing problem. I'd look into fixing that before you go trying to swap engines.
