Default Car dumbass here, I can't get my 91 Accord 5 sp to go into gear? Help

I can't get my 5 speed manual transmission to go into gear. Drove into a restaurant parking lot. Came back, it just wouldn't shift. The clutch will fully depress and the shifter will move from side to side but will not go into gear. Any ideas?

Are you trying to shift only into first? Try to shift into other gears and then into first. Sometimes the dogs wont line up right in the trans.

If this doesn't work you have a connection problem between your clutch pedal and clutch. Can you shift with the engine off? Check your clutch fluid level. Does the clutch pedal feel the same as it did when you drove it to the resturant or does it go to the floor easier?

If it will shift properly with the engine off, but not with the engine running, The clutch will not (or is not) releasing.
You would either have a leak in the clutch hydraulic release mechanism or the Clutch Pressure Plate gave up the ghost
