Default coolant leak help!!

quick question i noticed my car was leaking massive amounts of coolant, so i went under and noticed that it was coming from a hole in the block next to the oil filter underneath the oil pressure sensor (d16) now i dont know if a sensor goes there or a freeze plug cause it looks like something obviously went there. any one got a pic or an answer?

I beleive a coolant temp sensor of some sort goes there. I think that the fan receives a signal from this sensor when the coolant reaches a certain temperature. So if the plug was missing, I could easily see coolant leaking from it.
