EDIT: ok, i went back to the same place i took the original pics, and to not kill people on dial up i took down the previous pics. they were a bit blurry and shaky. these pics are just me messing with the new camera(like the light settings etc...) i took about 25 pics and these are the ones that i liked the best. so i started practicing with a tripod and different angles and stuff. so what else can i do to get better pics? i liked how these came out
im not up on photoshop too much, if i run these pics through photoshop, will that help them out at all? how do you run them through there to maybe make them a bit clearer.
oh and the camera is a kodak 340
pics:

so far i like this one the best

and i tried making a cool pic but i screwed it up...

you need to use the self timer on your camera to avoid bumping the camera on the tripod while pressing the shutter release

yeah i used the self timer this time, someone suggested a longer shutter time and a lower iso time. i found out in this camera, when you adjust the shutter length, it automatically adjusts the iso so i cant adjust them both. just out of curiousity, (since i am a noob at this) what would white balance be under in a camera. im sure it depends from camera to camera but a general idea what its called in teh camera, since i see no option for balance.

i found the white setting feature in my camera: there are 4 settings under it, auto, daylight, tungsten, and fluorescent
what the hell does that mean?
