DPFI to MPFI
and yes you do need to use a mpfi ecu, i did the same change over as you and i used the 88-91 si computer and manifold from a crx + b16 injectors, and beasted on ls's all day with a sohc non vtec in a 90 civic 4dr
Arent all honda injectors the same?... if not I have some d16z6 injectors I could throw in, will they make any difference. Also what about my dist. can I use my current one? and is there any other kind of ecu i could use. I plan on goin to a junk yard tomorrow and I wanna know what car I can gank one out of...

there is no difference in between the obd1 and obd2 injectors other than the clips that hold the wires to them. If you use obd1 or 2 then you dont need to wire the resistor box. Each injector gets a ground and a signal.
You must use a MPFI distributor. Which means a 88-91 crx/civic Si one.
You need a obd-0 mpfi ecu, which means pm6 (88-91 crx/civic si ecu) or the pg7 (which i don't recommend)
Not all honda injectors are the same, most flow 240cc and some flow more like 310cc (?). Obd-0 injectors are low voltage while obd1 and obd2 injectors are higher voltage.

hondas are basically all 240 with some being 190, and 310 i believe. If you want to run high inped. inj. just cut the inj box, and merge the wires.
almost all honda injectors are 240cc and preludes above 91 are 320cc. I'm not sure about injectors out of acura's (meaning honda engines from acura's). why not get dsm? I got mine out of a 93 talon for $5.00
