How do you align the fuel line bolts?
How do you align the fuel line bolts? Can't seem to get fuel from the pump to the filter, and I'm guessing the alignment is why. Anyone help? TIA. (Thanks in Advance)
You dont have to align the banjo fittings. The circular banjo fitting has a channel on the inside. So it doesn't matter which way the banjo bolt is turned, the fuel will exit the bolt holes and fill the channel and go into the fuel line attached to it. Your problems might be caused by something else.
What work did you just do? and how do you know fuel isn't getting from the pump to the filter?

scratch that, it is getting to the filter, just not to the front of the car. Fuel is coming out of the pump though. I bought the car to fix because I wrecked my 88. I had to put a new starter and distributer on, and the people who owned the car before me tried to get it running but really did more harm than good (cut wires, tried to replace parts with the wrong parts. I just spliced the wires from the old pump (old pump was too rusted and unusable). They put the wrong connector on and hot wired the pump... Still, I'm not getting fuel up front.
