4th gen dash question
I've seen quite a few 4th gen Accords with tan interiors, but still having a black dashboard.
What is this? What trim models did this come on?
I assume it would be a value package sort of thing because there are too many to be junkyard swaps but i've seen all tan interiors as well
Thanks

I remember my 4th gen had some different colors on the interior. I figured they were making the interiors one color for several different exterior colors to save on cost. The headliner was a tan color, and the dash and console were maroon. The exterior was rosewood brown. I remember noticing the colors didn't exactly go together.
My 92 Accord EX has a black dash and tan seats, door panels, headliner, carpet, center console and rear speaker tray. The 91 SE is the ONLY 4th gen with all black interior. The rosewood interior has everything (seats, carpet, dash, etc). that color, same with the gray one.

the headliner wasn't black though, it was grey.

When I was test driving 92 Accords I drove a red one. When I got in the car it was just TOO MUCH RED. Everything was red headliner, dash, seats, and carpet. You could hardly tell where one piece ended, and the other piece started. The different colors help to break the monotony sometimes, if it's a loud color.
Yea i've seen BMW's with tan/black interiors and they work damn well, but the Accord only had a black dash and few other pieces,a nd it didnt seem to fit...
