I have a 91 LS motor in my car and i want to swap in a 90-91 JDM ZC Gauge Cluster cause the redline on the cluster is the same as my redline on my LS... IF anyone has one please Email me @ Skunk2hb@aol.com or post on here..

I'm not really helping you, but I'm curious.

Isn't the redline on a ZC tach at about 7200 rpm? Doesn't an LS motor hit the rev limiter somewhere around the idle speed of a ZC or just slightly lower (that's how it feels when your driving them anyhow)?!? Maybe it isn't quite that bad, but it seems the rev limiter with a 91 LS is way below 7,200 ZC redline.

I'm curious. What all has been done to the LS to get the extra revs?

 

i haven't looked at it lately but i'm sure it's some where around 7200 on the ZC cluster.

SH3 is the main model of the actual cluster.. it doesnt really identify it, just style of it.

 

91 LS PR4 ecu, 91 LS Bottom end, 2000 LS complete top end, B20Z cams, JG cam gears, JDM B16A S1 tranny, ITR flywheel, Clutchmasters Extreem pressure plate, ACT stage 3 street disc, DC 4-1 Stainless steel header, and i have my Skunk2 exaust on the way.
