Opinions needed on new paint!
I'm getting a new paint job on Monday, and I'm really torn between two colors. The first color is the new 2005 limish/gold mustang color. The 2nd color is black. The disadvantages of black to me, is that I have no AC and during the summer it will be hell, and black shows everything. The disadvantages of the lime-gold is that it might look a bit "ricey" on my hatch, as I am going for a "clean" look. Opinions please, I don't want it to come down to flipping a coin!
the car has black rota slipstreams ( won't be able to change rims for a while, don't have enough money), and a CF hood. thanks
results so far: 1 for lime-gold, 2 for black. keep em' comin
HERE'S A PIC OF THE LIMEISH COLOR

i have to consider that i will have a carbon fiber lip, hood, and spoiler/wing. even though i love black as well, in my position it is not showing up as a better choice.
"legend lime," its formal name will stay cool in the summer and not show scratches, dirt, etc. but, in my opinion it could be a bigger target for car thieves :/, im confused

Black cars aren't any hotter than white cars: the interior color and fabric is what determines that. A black exterior will get hotter on the outside, but shouldn't transmit any more heat to the inside. Once the windows are down, it's smooth sailing.
Think about it this way: radiators are black, even in high-end sportscars.

the hottest paint is red, and yes it does transmit into the interior, i noticed a considerable difference going from an all black firebird to midori green hatch. not so much of smooth sailing in 110 degree weather in traffic (breathing in all the fumes makes me lightheaded, anyone else?) I drove to vegas in my hatch with the windows down and when i got up my entire seat was soaked in swet.
i love black dont get me wrong, i just cant stand the heat anymore i lived in vegas all my life and its horrible

I like black. Although the lime green color would be a head turner. If you want a lot of attention go with Lime. .. i'd do the black though just put the window's down lol

You're comparing two completely different cars and, thus, your correlation is moot.

black would be less visible...the green would attract attention
