i have a 1992 honda accord well my gas gauge used to be stuck on full would never move so i put some fuel additives in the tank to see if maybe its the sending unit well that didnt work so a few weeks ago i had martins auto eletric look at my car abd they said it was the fuel gauge its self . so they replaed it with a brand new one. now my gauge work
but now the half tank marker is now empty cuz my light aways comes on at half ank so i go to put gas in and it always took round 25.00 to 28.00 to get her full depending on the price well its still costs that much. so i took my accord bac to martins and they looked at it and said the gauge is fine works liek a camp bui tthat i have a small dent on the bottom of my tank so they think it could be that but im not thinking it is .. so can u guys please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a giant crock of $hit to me I'll guess the sending unit is the problem..If you use search you'll find how to test the sending unit..I answered this same problem about a week ago.
How in the heck could a dent make that much difference? It would have to be one heck of a dent. I think a dent would make it read more gas, not less. This guy must have brown eyes, cause he's full of it.
From what you described; they replaced #10 Gas / Eng Temp Gauge in the Dash Cluster, Right?

Since both the gauge and the low fuel indication lamp operate off the same signal from the tank (and the gauge reads correct fuel level) it's still within the cluster itself.
The prior complaint of the gas gauge would have been caused by two things:
1) Gauge (within cluster) lost it's ground
2) Wire running from Gauge to tank sending unit was grounded (pinched at some point to the chassis).
