Do these types of hooks actually work or are they just for show? It would be a good idea up north, not for drifting, but for the snow we get. I do like the way they look, but if I get stuck and need to get pulled out, I don't want the hook to break off.

I didn't think about that. I might get them anyway. I have a very long driveway that is very easy to get stuck in, so these hooks may actually have some practical value. Plus, they do look pretty cool. The "cheap" ones on ebay are only about $10 less, so I might as well go with Benen.
