Default Steering wheel question - i need help ASAP, an auction is ending soon!

Hey everyone, my car got stolen and was then recovered. I'm buying a removable steering wheel as a security measure. Will a 'racing steering wheel off of a Mercedes, Jag., or Porsche fit my 88 CRX?

Thanks!

It depends. For example, most MOMO wheels can fit any car but it depends on what hub adapter you use.

So if the wheel doesnt fit i should just get a diff. hub adapter and then it will be fine? Is it worth the $60 for a Grant wheel and quick release hub?

Thanks, Elad

I guess it all depends on what brand the steering wheel is and stuff like that. Just post the ebay link.

most of what i've heard about quick release hubs on ebay is that they are very cheaply made and you wonder if the steering wheel is gonna just release when you don't want it to (i.e. when you're driving). might try posting the link to the auction and that will help to see whether or not the wheel will work.

I have to agree, you get what you pay for and Ebay is a crap shoot everytime. I have a grant steering wheel cause i got it for free but as far as quick release hub I would spend money on a quality unit even though they are not cheap. Sparco makes a nice one but you will have to run a 6 bolt steering wheel like sparco or momo since grant is 5 bolt it won't work (w/o adapters that push the steering wheel to far out IMO anyway). It would suck to be driving along an then all of a sudden your steering wheel pops off>

That would be the one. Let me know if you think it will fit.
