Default ecu question

So i tow my car to our local shop to have some work done to it. Turns out it will cost way too much money so I have it towed back. When i left the car i had my JDM PR3 ecu under the seat. When I get the car back i take a look at the ecu and it says PR5. What the hell is a pr5 ecu? they are saying they didnt do it but I dont think a PR3 ecu could magically turn into a pr5. I think it is a 88-91 zc ecu but not sure. anybody know?

i believe the PR5 is for the 88-91 B18A LS teg.. it has no rev limiter.

not sure why they would swap it.. but either way, i would take that back and try to get the original ecu.. why? because its yours....

but good luck trying to prove they swapped ecus

a little off topic but where is the ecu located on a 88-89 integra? i looked in the kick pan but it wasnt there. perhaps under the seat/glovebox? also does it clip right into my 90 si harness? sorry to hijack the thread

^^^^I believe 88-89 integra ecu is under the seat, remember seeing one like that at a junkyard.
