Default h22a si 4ws vtec....TEMPERATURE situation...searched everywhere....please

okay....93 prelude si 4ws (h22a swapped). The temperature reads only one bar (cold) sometimes two bars never normal again. I warm it up and check front hose (hot) and the back hose (warm). New ect from honda and new thermostat and fan switch from local store. Flush raditor, no leaks anywhere. NOTHING....help out. what else could be the problem = connections, ecu p28chipped, gasket?

First off - 1 bar is not cold.

No bars is cold.

1 bar is perfectly fine to drive around in. Personally, I wouldn't want my car getting two bars all the time.

There is a difference in the temp sensors from H23 to the H22. When I swapped to my H22 head, I had to take the flange off of the H23 head for the top radiator hose b/c the H22 had the sensor port blocked off. I can't remember if that sensor is for the fan or the temp, but do you have that?

If I remember correctly, the fan switch, temp sensor, and one other plug in the same general area had the same connector = very easy to get them turned around. I had mine turned around so that the fan would only turn on when the car was off, lol.

i dont' get wat your talking about....your saying i have to get my h23 flange to get rid of this problem. I don't mind that's cool.....but i know it's reading it wrong b/c it goes up and down often....it sucks dude! I thinking it was my front motor mount problem but i replace it w/ inserts and NOTHING!
