ok so my hatch will start then lets say i go to seven eleven to get a drink and i turn off the car......when i come back to leave it will turn over and turn over but it will not start. if i waite for about 5 min. it will start right up. its almost like somthing needs to cool down before i can start it. its not over heating because the temp gague is below half and it doesnt have much coolent going in to the overflow. what could it be? im totaly lost please help me....thanks

 

its defiantly the main relay
goto dealer and get a new one
its located under the dash on drivers siide

 

That's also the symptom of a failing ignitor (or coil....) inside the distributor.

 

same problem wit my ls/vtec swap, but it seems like my starter won't want to turno over when hot...I think mines can be ground problem.

 

check the grounds on the thermostat housing. also make sure you battery posts are connected tight. I have done 20 or more swaps(when i had my shop) and have seen this problem when my guys were in a hurry to get the car out and done.
