Default Changing my timing belt...got some Q's

Im about to swap the timing belt on my 95LS (still not in the civ) and I was wondering a few things.
1. Did you put the plastic cover back on? I see a bunch of swaps w/o the plastic cover...your thoughts please.
2. Whare did you get a tool to take off the bottom pulley? Auto Zone says they have one to rent for $20.
3. Bought a honda replacement for $55...anything comparable?

1. I put the plastic cover back on so I wouldn't get anything in there to tear or ruin the belt.
2. I just used a breaker bar and some backyard muscle.
3. I only use Honda belts.

I second the above, but wanted to add to #2.

1). What is the point of running without the cover? Put the cover on.
2).Try it without the tool. Sometimes they're almost impossible to remove with just a breaker. If that's the case, THEN get the tool or go to a local shop and give a guy $5 to remove it with an impact gun and then put it back on just enough to get home.
3). Only Honda on the T-Belt. There may be something better (isn't there some company that makes a super strong belt?) but its not like timing belts fail because of weakness. They usually fail because the teeth break off, so get a honda belt because at least you KNOW for sure that it's good enough and the teeth won't break easily.
