Default is it safe to run 100W H3 bulbs in oem foglights?

i have a set of foglights in the mail and i know they don't come with bulbs. most honda fogs use 55W H3 bulbs, but for 1$ more i can get 100W ones, my question is.....will it melt the wire harness? will it draw too much? or will it work just fine....anyone rocking 100W H3's?

Yes you can run 100 watt bulbs. i had them in my fogs with no problems.. they are much better then the oem's and you will be able to see very clear.. just make sue that the bulb is 55/100

55= the amount of power that is drawn 100= the amout of light that is put out.. it should say it somewhere on the box.. if not then just get the 100 watt GE's, if its from advanced auto/discount then those are the ones i used...

I wouldn't unless you run a relay kit or you may burn out your wiring or even worse start a fire with too much currect going through the wires.

dont speak. if you read what i posted, you could see that the draw is the same as factory, and factory kits have relays.. Do you even have fog lights? cause i did, and i ran them no problems, sold the fog lights, the kid whop bought them is still running them and its been like a year and a half no problems..
