like the topic says, who here uses vtec on b16/18 motor swaps in there civics and crxs' ???? is it really worth it or not??

 

I dont think vtec would like you talking about it like that

 

probally not but just tryin to c how many people actually take the time to wire it or just run it normally without it ya know. c whos up to the challenge of it.

i use vtec on any motor i build... i even wax the car with it... you should see how fast my ride looks yO!

 

i cant imagine anyone that has vtec wouldnt want to use it. if this is your way of saying you dont want your vtec ill be more then happy to take it off your hands.

 

i guess nobody really gets the point, im trying to c who is the weak and fell under the radar and never even bothered to hook up vtec or rather is lazy when it comes to a full swap/conversion. my civic dont have a motor swap yet and im gonna put in a b16/18 with vtec for sure. with the huge jumps in power and torque who wouldnt use it. i may not be that smart but im no f-ing idiot when it comes to cars.

I don't think this kid understands that motors come with vtec. And you can't just put vtec in any motor.

i don't know what the expletive is going on... its as if someone screamed BOMB in an airport

 

i chose to use a flux capacitor on all my motors , more power than vtec can ever give just harder to hook up , there on sale now down 100 bucks now there 399 .

The only downside to it is that it weighs alot more than having a vtec setup , but i guess the extra power makes up for it .

If you autocross and your worried about weight disturbution just move the battery in the back and you shouldnt loose to much handling .

One more thing that sucks about it is not all tracks allow you to run it , but its getting better two tracks around me allow you to use it now .

Tuning is also alot easier anyone need any help with this or you have any questions just post

you got to be the biggest idiot in the world not to hook up your vtec...what the point in even doing a motor swap then...

only reason i wouldnt have vtec in my swap is because i swapped in the TODA vtec killer cams.
