Installin a FueL Pump

i know on the civic coupes that all you have to do is take the back seat out and take off the metal piece to get to the fuel pump but is it the same for crx of would i have to drop the fuel tank?

You have to drop the tank unfortuneatly..The metal thing you see on our cars when you remove the rear interior is only the sending unit..
