Hi, I'm trying to tighten my driver side mirror(it rattles) and I was told the fixtures to tighten it were behind the mirror. How do I remove the glass? I want to fix this annoyance A.S.A.P. Thanks in advance.

this is somethin i need to do as well, just never did

 

Take off the door trim, remove the mirror, take off the rubber seal, tighten the loose nuts. Put everything back together

no you dont need to take the glass out

 

awesome, im gonna do this here soon. They've been buggin me for quite a while, but I didn't even know they could be tightened.

 

ok, thanks for posting. I took the glass out today and broke down the electric mirror components and found no bolts. Wondered what the heck was up. Glad to hear how to do this. So through the door then? Any links on how to get the panel off? Or a more detailed walk through. I am a total amateur. Thanks in advance.
