Default Hall Effect Speedo Sender?

I have an EF9 Cluster in my 91 Civic Si. Since the original speedo was mechanical, and the cluster is an electronic unit. my question is will any Hall effect speedo unit, like such as a unit from auto meter or Blitz work?

any input would be perfect. thanks!

i didnt realize the JDM speedo's were electrical, but im pretty shure the 92+ civic speedo sensors will drop right into the 88-91 dseries trannys and just wire them up to the ecu and cluster
