Re-tuned my car
my set up is as follows:
b18c1 with arias 9:1 pistons
titan rods
ls crank
stock b16a head
t3/t40e 57trim .63ar
precision fmic 600hp
inline pro mani
turbosmart wg
turbosmart boost controller
walbro 255 fuel pump
550cc injectors
hondata s100 with boost
tuned by inline pro for 1bar 14.5lbs...
Old setup can be found on this link...

Looking for suggestions...I realize with stock sleeves and stock head 400whp is going to be my max hp, which is fine...Im also looking to make the most hp possible with my current setup...I thought Inline Pro did a good job tunning my car (conservative), but they also recommended possibly in the future a SC61 compared to my garrett t3/t40e...they said i could gain 20-40 whp...which if i sold my turbo and then bought a new SC61 would only be $300...just trying to see what you guys think, i believe both turbos spool up at about the same time, etc...My car currently is very fun to drive, so Im debating with my self a bit, should I get the SC61 or stick with my current turbo?...thanks for any help

You should be able to make a little more power out of the setup with more boost.
Another intake manifold (if your running a stock gsr) along with ctr cams would help a lot.
If your goals are 400whp I would look into larger injectors.

Thanks for the help...Ive thought about type r cams, intake manifold, tb for a while....right now i just have the stock b16a setup...Everybody seems to be saying that my turbo is fine...just turn up the boost...I just dont want to blow my motor again...One time is good enough for me...just curious with the same set up how much more hp do you guys think my car would make with the SC61...thanks again for the suggestions
Stock sleeves arent really holding you back now. If anything I would be worried about the valve train parts giving up on you.
I've always been paranoid about valves bending or dropping. Also your injectors wont be good for alot more power, so an injector upgrade would be good too.
Dont change the turbo yet. There's other things you can do to your motor to make it stronger and then you can just turn up the boost and make the power you want to make.

Alright thanks for the help...i was thinking of upgrading my valvetrain...Ive always been in contact with inline pro...the owner always told me the b16a valvetrain is efficient (and strong enough) up to about 500hp...looks like ill stick with my turbo and maybe work on some other things...
thanks again
thanks again
Walboro 255 fuel pump...Hondata (which im extremely satisfied with)....and Im sorry to say but I dont know what my duty cycle is...I forgot to ask the tuner...
this info is already in the above Set up Info, all except for the duty cycle information... thanks again

I think the torque seems about right...for b16a head, gsr block Ls crank...the numbers seem about right...anybody else with similar set up can chime in with their .02....

B18B1 block-B18C5 head, 8.5:1 SRP pistons, Eagle rods, block guard, Golden Eagle head studs, TOGA rod bearings, OEM honda headgasket, MSD ingition w/ blaster coil, custom log turbo maniold, Garret T3/T04E .48 exh./.60 turbine, full 3" downpipe and exhaust, Tial 38mm, Edelbrock Victor X IM, LS TB, Apexi BOV, Greddy Profec B Spec II @12psi, LS tranny, Exedy 3 puck clutch, DSM 450's, Walbro 255, tuned with Hondata....
We had the injectors almost maxed out on a few pulls, that was the only weak point. The turbo is kind of small too, I am going back in a month or 2 with 750's and the same turbo with the ball bearing center section and my tuner said I would easily make 400whp.

hmm. i would've thought you'd be making a little bit more power. but everything looks very nice. what size IC pipes are you running and what size downpipe?
Inline pro downpipe...2.5inches- 3inch exhaust...no cats....charge pipes are the drag upgraded pipes....2.5inches except the uppipe...which goes from like 2inches to 2.5inches
You seemed concerned with how much boost you are running. More boost won't break anything.... too much HP will. If you feel safe up to 400whp then just crank the boost and get closer. ITR cams and a intake manifold would also help you get there.... Best of luck
